Activities to Try Before the End of the Year
Updated: May 27, 2022
Some people have a bucket list of things they would like to do or accomplish before dying. Phrasing it that way feels morbid. So here's a list of activities to try before the end of the year.
1. Axe Throwing
If you're not an outdoorsy person but want to feel like a manly lumberjack, this is the perfect activity. The axes are hatchets, so it's much safer than you think. Some places are even BYOB! Invite some friends and make a night out of it.
A classic activity that often gets overlooked. Bowling is a fun group activity that fosters a bit of competition. Round up your overly competitive friends, put on some bowling shoes, and get ready for a night of wondering how embarrassing it would be to get gutter guards as an adult.
3. Eat at a Fine Dining Restaurant
Maybe you're not the type of person who wants to do physical activities. If that's the case, find yourself in a nice classy restaurant, put on your nicest outfit, and stuff your face with exquisite cuisine. This can get a little pricey, but it's worth saving up for.

4. Watch a Broadway Show
Take a trip to Times Square and make a day out of it. Shows like Wicked or The Lion King are classics on Broadway, but you might also enjoy Beetlejuice or Diana. Even if you think you don't like musicals, a broadway show may have you reconsidering. After the show, don't forget to explore Times Square. Shop at places like the Disney Store the M&M store until you're tired of holding things. Walk around and take advantage of all the prime selfie opportunities. Find shows here.
5. Ice Skating
The blade at the bottom of your feet may seem dangerous, but it's not as daunting as it looks. Even when you're scared, the wall is always there to keep you company as you glide along with the rink.

6. Roller Skating
Dance along to music while rolling across the rink in style. Impress a date or laugh along with your friends when you're all trying hard not to fall.

7. Learn to Knit or Crochet
Want to learn a new skill? Knitting or crocheting maybe just a hobby for you. The project possibilities are endless. Make anything from winter gear to toys. Your only limit is your imagination.
8. Cooking Class
Expand your horizons and learn how to make something tasty. Try making homemade pasta or gnocchi. If desserts are more your speed, try making a cake or pie.
9. Paint Balling
Live out your Scar Face fantasy by running out guns blazing in this competitive team sport. Sneak around and plan your next move with technical game play.
10. Private Plane Ride
Take your love for a beautiful view to new heights with a plane sightseeing tour. Fly over your favorite city and remain in awe of the bird's eye view.
