A soundscape is an acoustic environment. This is the story of how I spend an afternoon in my living room. Sala is the Spanish word for living room. I felt "The Sala" was an appropriate title because it is how I commonly refer to my living room. The challenge with this piece was creating a story in an identifiable environment that has a clear beginning, middle and end.
